Re: Radioactive’s 2.5K Post GAW!

Congrats Radioactive, and thanks for the generosity. I've stayed out of other GAW but I don't have a LW Native so I'll give it a shot. My favorite overall thing about this forum is the sense of collaboration and companionship. I've belonged to some forums where new people were flamed on and if you a...

Re: DLC Auto Collection

It is my understanding that in California it's not illegal to own an auto only to carry one. I have mayby a dozen autos mostly Benchmade, Protech, Mikov and I do carry them on some occasions. Guess it's time for a Spiderco! I don't know CA's laws offhand, but I would acquaint yourself very thorough...

Re: DLC Auto Collection

Are the Citadels double action, as in able to open manually *or* automatically or is the Spydie hole just for looks? Larry, They are not. I've noticed that most "plunger" or button lock style Autos are not, or maybe cannot be double action. The Spyderhole on these is purely a trademark an...

Re: DLC Auto Collection

VERY nice! Now you got me thinking, I have a fair number of Spyderco folders but no autos. Guess I'm going to have remedy that. If they're legal where you live, I highly recommend it. Currently the Autonomy (top knife pictured) is the only one in production, in black and orange, but the bottom two ...

Re: SHOT Show 2016 Videos

Thanks for posting the video, Scroop. That was my favorite interview from SHOT. Very well done. :) It is neat to see the special relationship that is shared between Sal and Eric--not to mention their passion for designing and making high quality knives. The Caribbean in LC200N has my full attention...

Re: New Chaparral in 2016?

I don't own a single Chaparral "yet" but a bronze, copper or C-tek would change that with a quickness... Bronze and Copper have a lot of following right now in the EDC community. I'd love to see something like that on a Chap. My only concern is that the Sage series was supposed to be a ye...

Re: Hap40 Poll

I missed the boat on the SB run. I don't feel like paying $150-200 for a SB Endura now either, so I jumped on both as soon as they came out, purchased directly from the SFO.

Today received a 30% off flyer from Sierra Trading Post when combined with the 37% discount for a Ulize (click View Coupon) results in 56% savings. And at $111.96 qualifies for free shipping. Drats. I couldn't stand it any longer and ordered one. In case you are on the fence, this deal ends Februar...

Selling is relatively safe and easy on Blade Forums. I've bought many knives there. There are also some specific Spyderco sales facebook groups. I've had some good deals there too.

-Military Bayonets (from around the world) -Other knives of various makes (anything that I like the "look" or "feel" of, or of interesting design or lock). I'm really enjoying the front flipping Boker Exskelibur Decade Edition. -Police patches and challenge coins -Interesting pis...

Re: Did I buy a fake Civilian?

I just got this knife in off of eBay. I'm new to spyderco and bought it before learning of counterfeits. I have contacted the seller and he claims it is a real spyderco, but I'd like some expert eyes. I didn't return the fake I got. It's illegal to ship a counterfeit item like that across state lin...

Yes, fake. Seki markings are stamped, not etched and the bug on the blade is wrong

Re: Hap40 Poll

I was fortunate to grab both, however neither are perfect specimens. The Delica is well centered with decent lamination lines, whereas the Endura has crazy lines and a blade that favors right of center. This is strange. My Endura has very nice straight and even lines, while my Delica's are wacky. I...

Re: Knife & Watch

Great thread idea! I am always shocked at how few people wear watches anymore. Working in Law Enforcement, a watch and a knife (or two) are essential carry items (as well as the gun obviously). On duty: http://i1245.photobucket.com/albums/gg588/coloradocopper/On%20Duty_zpsi2wkkx8b.jpg Off-duty (dres...

I'm thinking that's the one of the iterations of the Swick.

Wow, I have some Spyderholes, but that one on the left is Huge! I can't think of what that would go to.
