It's been a while since I have been to the Factory Outlet to buy a Mule. Is it safe to say if I'm there at 9am on 12/3 should there be stock available at the store? Actually I'd be there a bit early waiting outside.

I would only buy direct from spyderco if I were you. You live very close to the SFO so just stop in and buy from them. That way you can be sure that it meets your standards before money even changes hands. If you buy online you get what you get and have no way of knowing if it meets your standards ...

Do you want to put oil under the CF to protect the steel handle? If so, I'd go with something like Tufcloth/Tufglide. Should keep the handle from corroding should contaminates get beneath the CF scales. CF shouldn't need any oil on the outer exposed areas. Whereas G-10 "dries out" and needs a ...

I just received my Halpern Titanium CF handle. Wow! What have you guys been doing w/ regards to oil? This is my first knife I have put handles on so with CF should I put oil in under the handles before screwing them ...
