Re: Sprint Roadie?

Struggling to understand the want in the blade to be thinner. It’s already a small knife as is. I’d think you’d want some beef behind it to assure you can cut properly without any issues. I respect it though. Rich .. because it's terrible in its current state trying to cut an apple, cut down a card...

Re: Sprint Roadie?

Scrap the double-dent, so a thinner blade stock can be used. You'd be able to easily open it with a single-dent or no dent for that matter.

Re: Chaparral... Liner Lock?

A liner lock on a Chaparral would make it way too thick. Part of my love for the Chaparral series is how thin the overall knife is.

Re: Chaparral LW Exclusives and Sprints

I'm fearful that micarta scales will take away from its thinness, something that's a trademark fir the Chaparral series.

That being said, I'd love to see one.

Why No SAK or MT from Spyderco?

Just wondering if anyone knows why Spyderco has never released a multitool or Swiss army type device?

Been using Ragu in a jar for decades. Before that it was Spatini from a packet.

Re: Spyderco for Whittling?

Due to the blade geometry, I can't imagine any Spyderco being any good at whittling or carving.

I'd never purchase the Noble without first seeing the pattern I'm getting.

Re: Show us your roadie

Had one and sold it. It looked nice, but wasn't filling any uses for me. Too thick to be a slicer for me.

SQUAREHEAD LIGHTWEIGHT

How closely does the gray FRN scales of this knife mirror the color and texture of the scales on the Chaparral FRN?

Re: 2mo's With the Chaparral LW

Nice report. The Chaparral line has been my favorite, as far as Spyderco goes. The FRN version is off the chart.
