I'd totally be up for a Para 2 Mini. Probably the idea knife in my mind. The Para 2 is an awesome knife it's just a bit too big for my purposes. Same for the Southard which is probably my favorite knife by Spyderco. Just again, too big. Everything else about both knives I really like.

Yeah, his work is awesome. And he's an incredibly friendly guy too. You'll be really happy with what you end up with.

And a higher res view of another Mini AWT:

And of course my current EDC the Kershaw Leek (while an assisted deploy) would count as a smaller flipper style knife that's very popular, though quite different in look to ...

Well, there's the Mini AWT which I mentioned in the initial post:

Seems to be thicker than my Leek but similar in blade and body length. And hard to tell but seems to be a fair bit thiner than the Spyderco Southard.

I know, sigh. And of course everyone's idea of larger/smaller is different. :P

I was thinking a thinner blade as well. It makes sense, to me at least, that as the other dimensions shrunk the overall thickness of the blade and the scales/liners would shrink a bit too.

Mini Southard

I'm new to the forum. So hello to everyone!

I'm a huge fan of flippers and thus haven't had many Spyderco knives Besides a brown Para 2 which I similarly like because of it's very cool locking system. I haven't bought a Spyderco in years.

The moment I saw the Southard Flipper I knew I had to have ...
