Thankyou Jazz for your interest! In my man cave lol I use a S. Djarv crook spoon which I've convexed (every thing gets convexed of late) I use Tung oil because its non-toxic and approved for use on children's toys etc.

I'd like to say after EDC ing for about 4 mouths I've found the h1 steel to be easy to sharpen, takes a edge well, and keeps that edge.
