The law is similar to the uk law on flick/gravity knives that is the crux it's deliberately left open to interpretation to confuse.
The defining point should not be put to customs as they want you to do what they tell you.
The delivery company can tighten the pivot for you so opening with one hand ...

That all cost $370 in Australia so it is probably cheaper in US. Still waiting on the strops but just ...

Thanks, that's some good advice.

$2300...

Thats what I call a solid start. :D

Do you have a way to keep them sharp?

In my humble opinion, I think use what you have, in order to see what your preferences are in terms of size, weight, locks, steels, scales etc. It will take a while... :)

Then see if you can get a way in ...

They only way to get them is for a commercial business to apply for permit but the other day I was told that no one is ...

Wow, thanks everyone you have all being really helpful to this somewhat beginner, I am new to your forum and that all seems like solid advice. I popped on a Para 2 camo black blade and an endura FFG. I am right now contemplating a small loan for 3 more para 2's in all colour combo's and the entire ...

Thanks Divo, that's got me thinking, I'm kind of new to one hand openers. I am in a dilema of what you have said but not sure of how to go about it or spending my remaining cash on really high prices.

Hi jylong_away, are you talking about just ordering off ebay etc. and just taking pot luck as to them not finding them? The reason I ask is because today I called The Australian Police and got exact definitions etc and spoke to them about legality and they said they are definately legal. Then I rang ...

Hi, I have a major dilema on my hands. Australian laws changed in December last year and now ONE HAND OPENERS are not legal to import by customs. Its legal to own them in my state of NSW it's just that I can't get them here. Whatever stock is left in Australia is all we will have forever. I recently ...
