I wanted a nice pocket knife and I bought a Sage 1 after having read good posts about it. It all started when I opened it the first time and heard it click. I was amazed by the quality of the object, how we'll it cut, how smooth and precise it opened and closed. Then I bought a Military, and a ...

One minor possible improvement: the jimping on the black Delica offers nearly no grip at all, it is slippy compared to the non-coated version. The PM2 doesn't have this problem.

Any Anza owner?

I just bought a Anza hunter, and I am waiting for the mail. They say that the blade is made from a file, but what steel exactly it's unclear. Any experience with this brand?

I see, yes I noticed that. The effect on the blade angle of tightening those screws is still a bit mystical for me, but your method works! Man how I love this knife...

Hey it works! I hadn't tried to play with the bottom screws, only the pivot and stop pin ones, I guess this was why the blade was always leaning toward one side. Many thanks Evil!!

How to fix blade centering on the Paramilitary 2?

I recently disassembled my PM2 to remove sand from the pivot area. I was able to mount it back without trouble (opening is smooth and lock is tight as before), except that the blade is now slightly off center. Not a big deal but it bugs me. Has someone encountered the same problem and managed to fix ...

For small cutting tasks (boxes, plastics), ZDP189!! My ladybug is the knife I use the most and which I have to resharpen the least often, and it's always like a razor!
For thick cardboards, light wood processing, I would say CPM S30V (clearly better than VG10 if I compare my PM2 to my Delicas ...

Does anyone know what the knife laws are in Brazil. I am visiting next month, and cant seem to find anything definitive on line.

Blade play in the Para2 is not an issue IMO. Due to the design of the compression lock it won't affect the safety.

Through the years blade play has become defined as 'any movement when pulling and pushing the blade' I mean some people will tug and pull on a blade and say there is bladeplay. IMO ...

Many requests about blade length! If the PM2 is essentially a scaled-down Military, it would be logical to rather upgrade the Military with a compression lock. On the other hand I guess that Military fans prefer the simplicity of the liner lock, and then it would make sense to propose a XL version ...

The PM2 will not be easy to improve. Just trying to guess if the same leap than from the original PM can be reproduced by Spyderco. What would be your requests?

The Sage1 given the fit and finish is a rotten dirty steal of a knife :) . Flat grinding, s30v, and CF add to the price. Country of origin isn't picked for cost savings so the product has very impressive F&F, even among Spydies.
I can't agree more. And besides the specs, there's something special ...
