Instead if putting pressure in the lock, adjust your fingers to go to the scales instead during opening, then relax your hand and let it come into a firm grip :) It's always good to know where your fingers are when handling a sharp knife ;) :)

The PPT happens to be the one and only knife I've ever handled that I can not open one handed because I put pressure on the lock and it binds when trying to open it one handed. Other than that..... it's a great knife..... I guess.

Spyderco is much more of a collectors brand than any other knife company and people would be buying used from each other rather than new knives. I think it would be a horrible blow to Spyderco's new knife sales.

I found the PPT to naturally hug my hip bone when carried iwb. It almost feels custom made for my bones. The lanyard really helps get to it much quicker since it carries so deep.
