I would imagine that extra less mm would help keep production cost down. Wasn't part of the Manix 2 an attempt to sell the knife for less in hopes of re-coping on higher selling numbers?

What is the big hype about the 4mm think blade? Is it just because the original Manix used 4mm? Has anyone actually had a failure on a 3mm think Manix?

I realize I am a novice around here so please this question is meant to be taken from an educational standpoint.

Superblue!!!

S35VN's demonstrated edge-rolling tendency is a worry that Spyderco will doubtless correct, but until then, I'd opt for the Caly3.5 (the exciting Super Blue sprint can still be found on eBay, if not at your go-to online retailer). I would second the Caly 3.5 SuperBlue, sweet steel, easy to sharpen,...

I would personally like to see it offered in a carbon steel for the fact that original navajas were made from carbon steel. I also think it would add character to such a nice design Damascus would be nice also. I wouldn't mind some horn or smooth bone handles either. Hmmm ya I like those ideas very...

A Navaja Sprint? No thats silly!

It seems as though the Navaja is frequently sold out at various locations. Is this because it is a low production knife or is it really that popular? Maybe I just dig the knife a little too much, maybe i have just been bitten by the bug, but is there any one else out there that would like to see the...

I would really love to see any one of the Bohlers tool steel for knives mentioned above, Shirogami, or some other high carbon / non-stainless steel!

Elmax sounds pretty sweet too. Sounds like a great variation in results at different RC, I wonder what hardness the mule will be offered in?

Anymore information on this steel?

Being without additives do you really think it will take a sharper edge or just be easier to sharpen?

I believe that also means little corrosion resistance?

Thanks for the suggestions, I guess I need to go cut some more stuff :D I find myself gripping it in different ways, the two fingers in the choil is quite effective, before posting here I was not sure it was "proper" to be used that way. So far I have a Manix, Gayle Bradley, and now the Na...
