Thinking about picking up this Native III but wondering about blade.

He claims it is brand new but I've never seen that pattern on a spyderco blade. Anyone seen this before? Looks fishy to me.

My first was the Tenacious. My most recent is a Delica with Emerson wave. I started off thinking Spyderco made ugly knives. I didn't completely hate the look of the Tenacious and I'd heard good things so I ordered it online. My knife life was forever changed. I had never seen or handled a knife in ...

I, for one, am thrilled. I have been avoiding the forums because I didn't want to see new news about the forum knife. I am extremely low on funds thanks to a job change, a move and the holidays. Curiosity got the best of me a bit ago and I had to see what the scoop was. This is the best news I could ...

Spydie price hike?

I keep a regular list of knives I'm keeping an eye on, including an amazon wishlist full of spydercos. I also keep a "piggy bank" fund for spydies, flashlights and other toys. That being said, I've got a bit of a stash ready for my next spydie and I notice the prices on almost every model has gone ...

I'm mostly a lurker but I'd LOVE to get a forum Spyderco. Since my funds are pretty limited I'd just be in for one. I'm eagerly anticipating the announcement!

Question about Spyderco availability.

There are several Spyderco knives that I've been eyeballing for quite a while, including the Caly 3.5. As the "piggy bank" fills up I'm wondering about the time frame of the regular production knives availability. I realize that the standard Delica, Endura, etc. are always going to be around but ...

Delica/Endura with Emerson opener questions.

How long have these blades been available? Is this in regular, year after year production? Have there ever been sprint runs or variations available?

Thanks everyone. That gives me some stuff to look into. I've been eyeballing that ZDP ladybug too. We'll see where this leads. :)

ZDP-189 knife recommendations

I've been thinking about getting the CF Caly 3, mostly because of the ZDP-189. But I hear a handful of issues with QC on these. While this doesn't rule out the Caly 3 for me, per se, I would like to know what some of your favorite ZDP-189 Spyderco blades are.

What are your favorite knife and gear catalogs? Of the few I get, AG Russell is the one that seems to have more decent stuff than the others. Any other, similar catalogs?

Thanks everyone. MIL-DOT, I just spotted the Persistence at Cutlery Shoppe but I can't find the green ladybugs. Either way, they have great prices on everything. Thanks again.

Favorite Spyderco under $30

I'm Christmas shopping for my fiance's sister and brother-in-law and she recommended knives. I'm leaning toward the Ambitious for him. I love my Tenacious and I'm sure the Ambitious is hard to beat for the price. But what are some other "economy" folders that you guys are fans of? I'm looking for ...

Spyderco-llecting

I'm reasonably new to the world of "nicer" knives. I'm quickly becoming addicted. I know that the beauty of Spyderco knives is in the use of the tool. That being said, Does anyone have any tips for someone wanting to get into collecting for a potential hobby/investment? Obviously, I would assume ...
