There are several Spyderco knives that I've been eyeballing for quite a while, including the Caly 3.5. How long have these blades been available? Is this in regular, year after year production? Have there ever been sprint runs or variations available?

I've been thinking about getting the CF Caly 3, mostly because of the ZDP-189. But I hear a handful of issues with QC on these. While this doesn't rule out the Caly 3 for me, per se, I would like to know what some of your favorite ZDP-189 Spyderco blades are.

What are your favorite knife and gear catalogs? Of the few I get, AG Russell is the one that seems to have more decent stuff than the others. Any other, similar catalogs?
