Cold Steel customer service replied today, said that the discoloration was from sweat in my pocket. Made sense, as the side in question is the one facing my carcass when it is in the pocket. To remedy the problem, they said use some Flitz and a cloth to clean it up. Now, I happen to be around aircra...

I just purchased a Rajah 3- so so far its ok. I have only had it for like 5 days so cant say a whole lot about it yet. It is a wee bit thick, but it does get attention when you pop it out if you looking for that. So far I like it, and we will see how long it lasts. I do agree with Jack that they see...

Zack I use electrical tape to mask, but I think I just put too much pressure on it in the press. I never go "straight cowboy" with the knife during the molding process! I have respaced and re-pressed, so I think I'm ok now!

Thanks!

Thanks Dan. I have made about 7 or 8 sheaths so far, and no problems. Only thing I can think of that was different today was I worked with my first piece of .090 (I have been using .060 up until today). If I could figure out how to post pics I would put it up so you could see what I did. When my com...

Woops... blade scratched.

Hi all- was making a sheath today for my Street Beat. I am new to the sheath making, and I guess I had it spaced just a little too tight. I scratched the blade on one side, well, a few scratches. Any of you knife experts know a way to get rid of those?

Thanks,

Dave B

Trying to post pictures of a sheath I made for my Street Beat. Once I figure out how to find the pics' URL I'll post them. I am new to the sheath making. I have about 7 or 8 made so far, so I'm still in the learning process. I started using .060 for practice, and today I used .090 for the first time...

Agreed on CS. I made an account today just so I could post about Jeff's store. The nutnfancy code still works just used it yesterday 8/16/2011, and already have my conformation shipping email. I won't order from anyone else. CS is the best. No, I am not his nephew or anything like that. Just an extr...

Cutlery Shoppe

Hi- I made an account so I could post on this topic. I have been using Cutlery Shoppe now for almost a year. Jeff has proven time and time again to be the best online retailer of knives I have encountered. I have ordered around 10 knives from him and all shipped within 24 hours, usually less. The nu...
