There was some talk of it prior to today on Bladeforums in a few threads, which tells me it's been happening for a few days now. Personally, I only got the warning through Firefox/ESET NOD32 today when I tried to hop on. Naturally, that led me here and to check the e-mail account I had linked to BF ...

As a life-long Sprint customer, I'm looking forward to the new iphone launch. I don't anticipate any of the data plan pricing issues, since Sprint is one of the few companies that still holds an unlimited data plan (which I have). Also, considering I'll be upgrading from a Crap-Berry the prospect of ...

For what it's worth, I think the thumb stud is supposed to be more of a blade stop than a functional opening mechanism. Also, isn't it supposed to be a tribute to the designer Butch Vallotton? I could be wrong, but I thought I read that or saw it in a video somewhere.

I'm fairly certain that there is no age restriction on the purchase of knives here in MA. From what I've observed both in practicing law and in the real world, the age issue comes up more often than not as a "discretionary" issue for the seller. In other words, there is no real government-sponsored ...

As one who is new to the forums, I'm certainly not in any position to be deserving or entitled yet. However, if one was made available I would certainly put up the cash for it.

If I remember correctly, the NYC law does not limit the sale of or ownership but the (concealed) carrying of the knives in question. Meaning a store can legitimately sell the allegedly "contraband" items, the sale of which has no bearing on the customer and his decision to actually carry the knife ...

If you think in terms of availability, the Manix 2 Sprint should receive some priority. Both the Sage 1 and Gayle Bradley are regular production knives, and at least for the foreseeable future aren't being discontinued. The Manix 2 Sprint, on the other hand, is limited production and may soon be ...

Question re Bob Lum Tanto Sprint
Just got the blade in the mail today, and I am very pleased. Came with some smudging on the G-10, but thanks to Mr. Clean and his magic eraser everything is looking just perfect now.

One of the worst things you can do as a non-lawyer is to try and interpret the statutory law on your own. Non-lawyers do this all the time, and it leads to inflated expectation and misplaced entitlement. While knowing the statute is helpful, it is in no way conclusive - especially when it is unclear ...
