Anyone else notice how close the very tip of the blade is to being almost level with the end of the scales when the knife is closed? I did the mod to shorten the flipper tab this morning and it works much better now.

Cool work asenna, that will definitely improve cut-out clearance. I'm guessing the more rounded tab will also make it easier to "push button" flip, if that is your preferred opening method.

I find that the flipper tab is too long it passes over the area where you compress the lock with your finger and hits the tip of your finger. If it were just a bit shorter this would not be an issue.

The Atlantic salt is nice but the Assist would be pretty close to perfect. The cobra hood helps when wearing 3 finger cold water gloves, or heavy rubber tending gloves, the safety tip is better when diving with dry suits especially if you are cutting entanglements when diving hard hat which limits ...
