Ime xhp does hold that fine edge longer then any other production I have with a very close second to my zdp stretch I guess because of zdps high hardness. That said I have been able to shave with my my 20cp para after weeks of work when xhp would be done shaving but . So I guess its how sharp you ...

the texture on peel ply cf spyderco uses definitely shows less wear than the texture on their peel ply g-10. I've carried my cf stretch quite a bit in the last three years, and the cf still looks exactly like that on a brand new one i have. Imho, peel ply g-10 would be worn smooth around the edges ...

I had hoped I could test a knife with CPM154 without buying a out of my price range custom.
I plan to make a gents knife in .0100" thick steel and CPM154 seems to fit in price point and workability. I just wondered how it performed.
