Re: The next Endela?

With the FRN police model coming out soon, which I think is a great move by Spyderco. Back when the Police model was introduced, all the Police officers guns were solid steel. The belief was that if you wanted tough and reliability, steel was the only way to go. It was thought that plastic was not u...

Re: Are you a collector?

I’ve been collecting Spyderco for about 15 years and the numbers are fairly high these days. “Completionist” sounds about right for me. I even have a list and according to it, I have: 92 variations of the Delica. 75 variations of the Endura 33 variations of the Dragonfly. 88 variations of Spyd...

Re: 2020 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/1024x768q90/923/2ChFHN.jpg The Endura and Delica were in both introduced in 1990. The year 2020 will be their 30th birthday and it should to be celebrated. With the Endura and Delica, Spyderco got it right the first time. Dam near perfect. I purchased a Endura in ...

Re: Endela-thread

I am hoping the Endela sells really well, :D so we can get a heap of new variations. The perfect EDC is personal choice sort of thing. For me the PM2 was so close but the Endela even is closer to that perfection for me. The Endela will do it all for me, big and small tasks. But some times a smaller ...

Nice Calypso, :) I have never seen one in the flesh. I went to Spydiewiki to read up on it and it is an interesting read, plus some interesting comments from Sal.
I can't really believe this.
No, no  it’s true.
:D The text and Sal’s comments were interesting.

Re: Endela-thread

Then Sir. :D I must politely disagree with you. It has been said many times on this forum, that a knife begins with its edge. Everything after that is created to make that edge work efficiently. Blade length can be determined by many things. It could be local laws, EDC requirements (to fit in the co...

Re: Endela-thread

:o Hadn’t really thought to compared the sizes of the Endela and the Stretch before today. And you are correct, it was a Stretch 1 I compared it to. I did manage to find one Stretch 2 in the collection and I see what you mean. I still prefer the grip on the Para military 2 and the Endela over the St...

Re: Endela-thread

Ok, but how does the Endela feel in the hand vs the Endura? Re: Slipjoint mod Para 3

:) Nice design.

The slip joint knives I have used. usually have a mid stop when closing the blade. If you were making that design from a new blade blank. Would it be worth adding a third shallower indent between the open and closed position to create that mid stop?

Re: Garlic as a healing remedy?

I was reading that garlic has been known for centuries or longer as having healing properties for various illnesses and health problems. Obviously everything has their up and down sides. What do you all know about using garlic in this way? For example,I read that garlic is good at breaking down muc...
