I hope the knife gives you many years of service. I have wanted one since I first saw the picture and read the specs. No joy my bank account says though. Enjoy it for me and the others who would love to have one. :)

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, but I'm pretty sure this guy tried to sell me something similar . On ebay, he convinced me he was a Spyderco worker and had a cool sprint run to sell me. It turned out to be a crappy gerber knife and a picture of a spyderco endura. I can vouch not to trust this guy ...

For some reason, I noticed that the linerlock didn't have tension against the blade tang, as my S30V Military does, when releasing it from the locked position. Upon opening the blade, the linerlock did engage as it should but it felt odd ...

I highly agree, Paul. Although I have read some not so positive threads about customer service lately, it has been many years since my last interaction with them so I really didn't know what to expect. And while the Blade show may have been this past weekend, I really doubt that Spyderco ...

I have 2 knives at warrienty and repair for sharpening and repair right now.it took one weak to hear from them that they received it and I got a email that they are going to do all repaired for free.it has been 1 1/2wees since I heard back but them but is a huge knife show comming and a big sprint ...

That is an excessive amount of time. Unless it was something unusual which they should have explained to you I have a difficult time seeing it taking from a tuesday to a following friday to ship. Still, I'd have to call a supervisor. Trying to communicate through forums is not the most efficient ...

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Things happened. I sent in the past knives to Golden CS several times. Sometimes my issues were solved pretty fast, sometimes much longer that I wish. Still in my experience with Amanda and Charlynn, they did everything they could to help. IMHO ...

I'm not throwing an online fit about this but rather using the forums for one of the reasons that they were intended for.....for a line of dialogue between Spyderco and the end line user. Not all discussion may be positive.
