Well, there really wasn't much teeth left to rob, and I did give it a 6 month chance, but it just wasn't cutting it...

(It really was a last resort to breath some new life into the ol' girl.)

Well, I had to have something to do during the outage, so it got a PE. It will be beat mercilessly, and used where no knife should go. Hey, as long as you know the limitations, more power to you.

I use mine for food also, and even with the laundry list of stuff used, I just wipe it off, before and after and have never had problems. Any that might be ingested is too minute to be of issue.

If ya really want to just try it with household stuff. Get some metal polish (Flitz/MAAS/etc.) out of the cabinet, and smear some on the back of a notepad/backing, use that it'll surprise (and hook) ya.
