DRKBC wrote:Hey Distorted are you liking the grey?
It's not bad, pretty similar to the grey used on the Para 2 sprint a few years ago with the cts-20cp steel. Probably will dirty up with use though.

Is it just me or does the Techno remind anyone else of Jens Ansos work?
I looked at some of Marcin's work but this looked very "Ansoey". :D

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw the Techno. At least as far as the blade shape is concerned. Looks to be an awesome, stout little knife. :)

I agree. I think these will continue to trickle into dealers' stock in the coming weeks. I find it hard to believe all 700 are already spoken for through pre-orders.

I paid the deposit March 10th, I wonder if I made it to the first batch? Man can only hope. :p

If the card you used for the deposit is still good, check your bank account/credit card. I was charged without getting any notice. Not that I'm complaining or ...

Let's just say that if the project was rushed, there would be plenty of QC issues we wouldn't be too happy about. I know i wasn't a happy camper about the results of one of the not-so-recent M4 folder runs.

I don't have a screenshot, but did anyone catch the yellow Salt that was used on Wild Recon a few days ago? Pretty long scene where he uses it to cut off a fin sample from a Mako shark.

I do find it funny how the jimping on the top portion of the tang actually dips below the liners when the knife is open (Chicago). Are there any other Spydercos that exhibit this design?

I'm not sure about the new boxes, but the boxes i got with the Honeybees were perfect for gifting. Black with a silver Spyderco on the lid.

How did the bug boxes look like? Just plain white?

I think it's more common than many people realize. I've purchased a number of NIB knives over the years that had the correct sticker placed on top of a previous one.

I agree. Just looked at my para-military box and i can see another label under the para label. Not sure what it is though and i don ...

product stickers on boxes

Howdy folks, i did a quick search but couldn't find any info. My girlfriend got me a new Chicago for valentines day (not a blem and perfect to my naked eye) and i noticed that the box it came in had two stickers on it.

The top sticker was obviously for the Chicago and correct as it has the ...

I too prefer discreet carry, but in a tactical situation where the folder needs to be grabbed quicky, the more of the knife that's exposed the better i think.
