By "trade" i'm a viticulturist/vineyard manager, the Tasman SE is my #1 knife at work for at least 6 months of the year - namely for picking grapes, utility for bird netting and alike, it's awesome.

Combine that with winery work where you deal with caustic and citric acid mixes, H1 blade ...

It's not only benchmade and sog that have a similar "hole", a few more are emerging....

Anyone heard of ANSO Knives??

My native 3 is one of my favourite knives and I like the idea of an extended version pictured.

Ideally though I'd like to see the native 4 produced in H1 in a future run, along with the Chief, that would be a winner

Never tried, doubt I would (as I'm a folder sort of dude).

But I know for a fact customs will sieze double edge blades that come into the country... It's a big risk.

I of course love the idea of more new H1 knives!

I still would really, really, really like to see a G10+H1 hard use folder (H1 manix 2?). Until that happens, i'd be happy with an H1 Goddard.

Got my tasman salt yesterday, been needing (wanting) it lately for the hawkbill to try it out. Tied a lanyard and took it to work...

Started the day with a few irrigation trickle blow outs, fixed. Had to spray some fungicides for a few hours - opened a few bags of chemical to mix up. Fixed sprayer ...

In fact my next Spydie I hope to be a Tasman.


My Tasman came yesterday along with my pacific, had a play and this beauty is great - the Tasman is perfect size and shape for my needs at this time of year and is in pocket ready for work this morning.

Long and short of it is in the last few weeks I've bought a Tasman Salt SE, Pacific Salt PE, SS Dragonfly SE, Persistence ...

Mine's on it's way, along with a Pacific Salt to complement it, can't wait.

Been a couple of weeks now so I think it's been holed up in the Aussie customs for them to have a peek
