Thanks for the compliments, fellas! Coming from this gang, it means alot.

My own Spyderco ad
I received a good response from scanning and posting the old Spyderco ads and I really enjoy taking photos of my knives. I slapped this together with Photoshop. Let me know what you think. It aint great but I think it's pretty good.

The G in the product code means G-10 so the C46GP model is the G-10 model. That picture is incorrect.

Haven't noticed the correlation at all. It shouldn't matter as long as you're fully disengaging the lock bar. My Calypso Jr, Native, and Merlin all have the boye dent. Only the Merlin fails to close under gravity.
It has more to do with blade mass, pivot tension, and breakin than the boye dent if ...

Rger No. 1,
No contest: for EDC, the Temperance wins. It doesn't ride so damned high and it's lighter. The Gunting is great for what it is, but it aint a great everyday utility piece. I carry my Gunting in a kydex holster on my belt but the Temperance rides clipped to my pocket when I carry it.

Here's a review I wrote in November over on BFC. I still love 'em! The Trailing point sees more carry. I thought I would like the leaf point more but the trailing point is lighter and carries better as the blade fits into the closed handle better.
