I always love taking the time to read your reviews. You really show that you put the knives you review to work.

One of the things I found interesting is that even back then there were people who made inferior copies of someone else work.

I watched the other night and really enjoyed it and thought some of you guys might find it interesting. Here it is online.

Those are some really nice looking edges Travis. I finally got around to taking off the factory edge of my Ti Military.

Where's the edge shot prime? I love looking at your edges the same way I like looking at supermodels.

I haven't taken the time to do a full reprofile, just touching her up on the UF stone. I be sure to post some pics when I do though.

I picked up a Ti Military at the Blade show and it hasn't left my pocket since. The others are right it's has much more weight than it's G10 counter part but I don't mind. I love it. Here are some shots I have taken of mine since I got it.

How did you go about making that portable strop?

I got some really good thick leather from a guy in my town who has a belt making shop. Just cut it to size and added some green compound. I have been experimenting with carrying it with the double stuff stone. I has worked pretty good ...

Right. Medium, fine, then ultra fine. No sharpmaker was used.

I have a Youtube channel and have thought about doing vids but my camera is crap at taking videos and don't have a lot of free time to post them. I can tell you that Solo's freehand series had a great influence on me in his advice ...

Just to confirm, when you said the UF stones gave you that nice mirror edge, did you do that on the Sharpmaker with the UF stones?
If so how long did it take?? and im going to buy a pair right now...

Are you using the 302 series stones or the 306 series? Does the 306 series have a medium and fine available?

I just picked up the med, fine and ultra fine in the 302 series but havent used them yet! I must be gun shy or something! I am a noob when it comes to sharpening so sorry ...
