You've found gun and knife lover's paradise -the South

Grew up there, wish I could go back at some point.

You should get your Concealed Carry permit next...in FL it's as easy as taking the course, passing a written and shooting test ...

Anybody received their forum knife yet? Pics?

Mine won't be here until the end of the week

I too noticed it was no longer showing on SFO. What was the blade steel on this one?

I'm a believer in using all my knives - why not enjoy them?

I have 2 discontinued models - a CoPilot and a Frank Centofante C25G.

Endura, circa 1991, bought new at a gun show for $30. Was my EDC for almost 10 years. It's semi-retired, but still sees work around the house

Thanks for all the replies! It's kind of cool to have an "older" Spydie, I may ultimately retire this one from any "hard" use and get a newer Endura.

I noticed that the G2 steel sharpened very easily, almost like some of the high-carbon steels in some of my stockman-type knives. My later ATS-55 ...

old Endura questions

Hi all.

My first Spyderco was an Endura that I bought about 12 years ago. Although I have purchased many other knives since then, I always seem to grab that old Endura when I'm going hiking, biking, etc.

Anyway, two questions:

1. What is the blade steel on this knife? The blade says G2 ...

Thanks everyone for all the replies!

I purchased my Spydercard so that I would always have a knife handy, since my wallet is always with me when I'm away from home, and I occasionally happen to forget to pocket another knife...plus it seems whenever you need a knife you don't have one...this card ...

Thanks Ryan!

I'm just looking around for a few Christmas presents and am most likely going to get a few more Spydercards, although the SOG looks good, and has the money clip if you want it. I got my Spydercard to go inside the wallet, though.

Spydercard vs. Competition

Hi all,

Just found this forum yesterday, very informative.

I've had Spyderco knives for the past 11 years (started with a PE Endura), and just recently picked up a SpyderCard, among others...

Has anyone with a SpyderCard seen or purchased a SOG AC75 Access Card? How do they compare ...
