Does the detent hold the blade closed well? Am concerned especially since they're using the new pivot bushing, and aside from the detent, there's not much friction holding the blade closed.

Hey thanks for that everyone. I've dug through the kit that came with my Dremel Stylus, and there does seem to be a bit that fits into the groove for the wire clip. Am thinking of starting a shallow groove with maybe a cutting disc, and the deepening that. Thanks!

Bushbadger, Looks fantastic! I'm looking to do something similar with my Manix 2 - possible with some canvas Micarta. Was wondering what sized bits you used to drill the various screw holes? I'm guessing you did the initial thread hole, and then used a countersunk bit on top of that? Thanks! Dave
