M4

There's some beautiful work in this thread! Compliments to the crafters of all the fine looking Mules in here! This was one of my first custom scale and file work projects ... M4 steel ... I gave it to my brother for Christmas. http://i554.photobucket.com/albums/jj405/JayBee3_photos/Mulefinished01.j...

*This thread is useless without pics* :P Sal asked that we not take pictures of the knives. His reasons for not allowing pics of prototypes was sound business I believe. Kinda sucks but I totally get it. (He let me sneak a picture of the Techno though) http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?...

I just got last week a Rookie :D I love Rookies! Foliage Green G-10 and SS (shown here) I seem to be able to get sharp edges on the ATS-55 ... I've never really had problems with any Spyderco Seki steel. http://i554.photobucket.com/albums/jj405/JayBee3_photos/Rookie2.jpg http://i554.photobucket.com...

JB3, this is why we need a Spyderco.com patch. I sat right across from you at Mike Turner's grinding demonstration. If you are at the show today I'll say hello. I had to head home Saturday evening. My feet were fried and Sunday was "Motorcycle ride to Vernonia, OR" day. I totally agree wi...

That Techno is superb. Only wish that the spacer is the same color as Mr Gs shirt. I had previously thought the Techno might be a tad small for me, but the egronomics were great, and it's size seemed larger than what I had imagined. I thought I'd skip getting one and wait for the Ti Chaparral, but ...

Ti Delica at Oregon Knife Show!

I just got back from the OKCA show in Eugene OR today. Eric and Sal had a table of prototype Spyderco knives out. Amazing. I got to actually see and hold a Techno, and I was most happy to see a prototype for a Titanium handled FFG Damascus Delica. I couldn't take a picture of the Delica as it's not ...

Report that jerk to the manager of the club ... they might not be sympathetic at first, but when you get to the part about "give me $5 to get the knife back" you might get some satisfaction. I had the same thing happen in the '80's at a rock club, except they told me at the door that they ...

I just got the call and mine should ship tomorrow. +1 Part of me thinks this is a lot of hullabaloo about a PM2 in CTS-XHP ... tho I'm glad I ordered one, and am sure it will be a good knife. I think I'm a little more jazzed about getting a Ti Chaparral ... more waiting tho ... I must be masochisti...

If you get a light in a CR123 x2 configuration, you've got to be careful not to mix a newer cr123 with an older one ... the new one will dump it's power into the the drained one and create a huge amount of excess heat. Just to be aware. I have a 4Sevens Q mini 123 and love it ... not as many lumens ...

"Inside sources" tell me there are boxes of Ti Chaparrals stacked up in the break room at Spyderco ... and the poor little knives are being used as stir sticks for employees coffee ... so cruel. Thanks for the 411 Jack. I hope Spyderco hurries, 'cause we all know the world is going to end ...
