thanks everbody good advice i will try that i have the spydie sharpmaker...I just wonder how you know what angle if you free hand it..and the steel i have mostly is S30V and D2 and 440

How do u know what angle to sharpen a blade? how can u tell by looking at blade what angle it is? can anyone help me out with this thanks

the navy seal toward the end of movie has a spyderco native in his vest

saw a CRKT Kiss kife in the movie total recall its not spyderco but sweet. but what i dont understand is why he had to use a piece of glass to cut his hand open to get phone ouy if he had a knife

native 4 and it is very durable and does almost anything..

I love my native with the pinned contruction. I may have got lucky the blade is easy to open and shut and I ca use with one hand operation. hit the lock and the blade dropps its self and then finish closing..

Right now would be Native 3 black handle love it easy to carry and use and gets the job done. my second would be tasman salt its a great user also.
