Unfortunately, being an EMT does not allow you to legally purchase/own said autos according to Federal law. I was unsure myself, but if you read the Federal laws regarding autos we are not included as any group that is allowed to own or purchase these types of knives. I'm hoping that someday ...

The most consistent, easiest to use, is Mark Lee's Blue, from Brownells. As noted, it won't work on any Spydies, as they are all too high in chromium. 44/40 works well, and doesn't require boiling, but it isn't as deep either.

Lordy, quite a read! :cool:

First, a real question: is the swedge, forward of the serrations sharpened?
Second: how does the weight compare to the Hobbit?

Glad to see this coming back (and hopefully staying around awhile...)
