Re: Forgotten Games of Yesteryear

This was a favorite toy when I was a kid, my brother had one also. We would swap out the good parts, for the smashed parts, and then crash them into each other.

Reminds me of this one that I had as a kid!

Re: Canadian made knives???

Yes.

Spyderco and Kershaw, have factories making knives for them, in other countries. If the parent company has good QC, there shouldn't be any issues.

Re: Canadian made knives???

I'm sure there are plenty of people in Canada, that enjoy knives, as much as other enthusiasts.

Today, you have to think on a global level, if you want to sell items, that a good portion of the population like. Even if the laws in their city, state or country, try to limit.

Re: Do you have any special stories about knives?

Back in the 80's, before Benchmade, was a company named Pacific Cutlery Corp.

I saw their Timba fixed blade (w/sawteeth), had to have it. Fast forward to about 2000 and I see an old ad for PCC. It showed the Timba, the Fer-de-lance and the Timba (w/o sawteeth).

I was on a mission to get the other ...
