Re: New Manix 2 with Uneven Bevel

I once received a knife I was unhappy with and contacted the dealer.
They said no problem, and sent me a return shipping label pronto. I put it on their box and got a full credit for another knife.
Easy peasy.

I am thinking of buying the galley-v for a 10° option for my fishing filet knives and some kitchen sharpening... but I would like an additional coarse option on the rods. I would like to find out if the separatel...

Re: PM2 Magnacut

Maybe there are a few posts missing here since the re-rack? I've been carrying mine for two or three weeks. Love it, PM2s are my fave I think. I actually was bummed when I thought I gave it a couple of bad scratches by something else in my pocket, but the next day the scratches were gone. That DLC c...

Re: What is the best application to tool steel for long term storage?

I like Corrosion X. Highly mobile on the metal surface and has a polar molecular bond to metal that can be best described as similar to magnetic. It resists removal by detergent, alcohol, heat, and friction etc. Also said to be bio-safe in quantities that might be transferred to food from a knife......

Super-shallow sheepshead... usually a much more wary quarry than a sheepshead on vertical structure. Off a rockpile at the mouth of a no name Creek, about 6 miles East of Saint Mark's lighthouse.. My rod tip is in the sand... as close as we could get my bud's Redfisher 16... Rock in the background.....

Re: Community Sharpening Journal

I go for more practical sharpness tests myself. I mean which material are you more likely to use an axe on? https://dubz.live/c/ea7305 :rofl Ya, I tried but I was only borderline paper cutting (loose magazine pages) sharp. The apex seemed like it was 30° per side and I just couldn't cut it down eno...

Sticky sharp for small axe: Able to process a coal bucket of fat wood and still be able to pick up a small piece of firewood off the ground by sticking it in the end. Across the grain. In a knot. 1/2 bevel deep. :usflag https://i.postimg.cc/gkHX3s94/20240217-143133.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/brz8PQ6N/...
