Search reddit for Dack Outdoors, lots of terrible experiences with this retailer, I would avoid.

I'd really like to see a Lil Native Wharncliffe in Magnacut or Elmax, in a really hot handle color.

What I am saying is, the rules should be clarified. If Spyderco went for something like:
- Everybody gets a $250 box containing roughly $250 of knives, so that they can clear their inventories.
- But for those who wants to pay $500 for that, they would enter a draw. A few lucky ones get a trio ...

I'm pretty pleased about the PM2 15V.

Spyderco advertised this sale on Instagram showing a Drunken being put into a box. There should be some rare or 'chase' boxes that are undeniably great to make it exciting. Most people won't get that, but it would justify the risk/gamble.

Thus far we've not seen anyone 'win'. If there was a crazy ...

It is pretty entertaining. I do have a 250 box coming in for me today though, I guess I like gambling.

They should start showing up today. I’m curious also. I was at the seconds sale. If the boxes only have two knives I would think Stovepipe, Paysan, and the Drunken models as one of the knives. I bought a para3 elmax the Fraden lock knife it was over$150 and one of the most expensive knives there ...

Was there a timeout in the CART?

I placed 3 separate knives in the CART -- and I wasn't greedy. Only one knife per version.

And as I went back to look to see if any new inventory to appear, my CART emptied out within 5 minutes.

Did anyone know about a TIMEOUT?

Hope my 250 mystery box has something cool. Thanks Spyderco for doing this.

I'm not totally sure how good Shopify is for such surge traffic but they probably would do better than any self hosted solution. I swear I don't work for these guys this is not a self promotion thing. There are online services specifically designed around short high traffic situations.
