I'm a bit surprised that most of the comments concerning the HIC Mule is comparing sharpness, that it doesn't get as sharp as steel.

I was hoping that most would see this ...

Well... my knife as received won't cut through construction paper so I'll see what I can do!

Can anyone tell me if the HIC-specific sheath works with standard mules? Thanks.

I got mine today. It's so dull that it won't cut through construction paper.

If the factory can't send me a usable edge, I'm not going to waste my time and diamonds on creating one with soklme random exotic material. I'm just weirded out that they would see that edge and say "yes - we will ...

I received my mule today and it's simply not sharp. If Spyderco can't send them sharp from the factory, I don't want to even bother trying with my sharpening setup. Disappointed.

I would like to try k390. But since its only made in frn models I really do not want to spend my money on it. If they would (depending on the model) put it in a more expensive g10 version i would find it so attractive compared to now. I feel I really am struggling with spyderco’s tactic’s as of ...
