Re: Could we see a Rex-121 mule?

I hope so - the 15V mule has been a really reliable and worthy knife in my stable, and another super-hard tool steel like REX121 would be a welcome flavor to try.

Here ya go!

Wish they made a 4" model in 3V or Cruwear.
Hey thanks! Seems like a reasonable price, too.

Re: Sage 5 in REX 121 + burnt orange

I'm in, even though I've never held a Sage and worry it might be on the smaller side for my preferences, as the Native 5 is already a little small. Don't care. I'm smitten with my REX45 Manix2LW and the pull of REX121 novelty is too much to resist.

201 left! Excited to try it out! Thanks to everyone for cluing me in on how you actually order these--I had no idea they were in-stock and I thought I'd be waiting for the next run. Kudos to Spyderco customer service that helped me switch from AEB-L after I'd already ordered, too. Wow! Didn’t reali...

Hey Happy New Year, everyone - pleasure to see this thread again and all the awesome pictures people posted the last few weeks. This week's submissions are already looking really compelling, but I'll throw out this pic of my new (and first G10) Manix 'cause I'm smitten: https://i.postimg.cc/tRZqGpwY...

It may seem like a vanilla or lame choice, but the CruCarta PM2 has been in the hand and pocket a lot this year already.

Re: If laws and public perception were no issue, would you carry a different knife?

Super interesting question, as it has us all examining our own perceptions of the knives we use and carry. I think the only real difference for me would be that I would carry a fixed blade a lot more often. I like a belt- or pocket-rigged fixed blade in the 3-4 inch size range. While Washington laws...

I look forward to seeing what you both post! I would follow Taz’s advice . Nothing wrong starting a new thread with positive information to share or discuss . Have fun ! Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?

Cool thread idea, Vivi. Happy to fall in line. Similar to Wallach, 2023 was a big year for me with Spyderco knives as late winter 2023 I got my first Spyderco since I was a teen in the 90's: an AEB-L mule. I was apparently bitten by a spyder of sorts around that time, perhaps due to my shock at how ...

Re: Manix 2 LW deep carry pocket clip

For what it’s worth, I sought out replacements because I found the stock wire clips to actually be too flimsy for the way I open, operate, and carry my manix. Particularly when wearing thick material overalls, etc. I got the lynch clip and it is just stiff enough and has made this one of my favorite...

Re: Confused on where to post last several mile performance threads.

Also confused in the same way, here, and would be interested in guidance. I have some observations to report, but a little worried about posting on some of the existing threads for a particular mule and don't feel confident or traveled enough on here to start my own thread (and don't want to duplica...

Re: What knife do you actually carry and use the most?

It may not be original, but the PM2 platform is my most carried. S90V and Cruwear get the most pocket time and use, but there are others that wiggle their way into the line up as I just recently got an S110V PM2 at the seconds sale. I have large hands and have recently started an exodus for my small...

Yep, I'd be super interested in a Military 2 Salt. I don't even have a Military 2 yet, but assuming it is even half as great as I know it will be I'm certain I could put a Millie-2 salt to very regular use. You can throw rocks into the sea from our yard, so a full size G10 folder with absolute corro...
