The Native Chief lightweight is a feat of design, engineering and manufacturing. A 4"+ blade and 1.9 oz weight. Amazing.

Just picked one of these up. I really like it; all the hardware is blacked out and the purple handle fits the color scheme well. And of course, Spyderco sharp. It's my "Black Sabbath Master of Reality" Spyderco lol.

I just missed the serrated edge model @ Smokey Mountain Knifeworks. Man, this is getting to be quite the endeavor to find one. The search continues...

Thanks, I'll try MidwayUSA for a SE model (City Arsenal is out of stock). Not sure I believe they will get them in, but I'll give it a try. I've seen other items at MidwayUSA have preorder dates like this that never happen. Thanks for the leads everyone!

I believe I have searched for a SE model at every legit knife retailer in the USA. No luck finding a SE model. Out of stock everywhere.

I have one of each design and I'd say each was an improvement over the last model. I am very much looking forward to the Chinook 5. Great to hear Spyderco is working on it.

Thanks of the heads up on a serrated model. I don't want to order from Europe, but I might have too. I haven't been able to find a serrated model State side yet.

Yep pretty much an instant buy when it's released. I like the evolution of the design. I love my Yojimbo 1 & 2.

I still haven't been able to hunt down a serrated model, but I haven't given up. The hunt continues....
