Re: Question for Sal and Eric
I don't know either. Have you tried to pick up a Para 2 in a Tanto blade on ebay? Get ready to spend $300+ I personally think the PM2 Tanto in M4 is simply badass. It looks tuff and undoubtedly is tuff. I gotta get one.

Re: Who got my Mule?
"Looks like SFO took care of you though!" Thats what I was hoping but not so much. After I called they assured me that my Mule was on the way. Well, I got sent an email with tracking info and the receipt said that the shipment was for a Boltaron sheath. So, I called again and relayed my co...

Re: Manix 2 cage lock question...
I haven't disassembled the Manix 2 yet . How challenging is the process? Also, does anyone know if Spyderco used Loc-tite on the screws?

Who got my Mule?
I ordered a new Mule Team 2 and a leather sheath last week and the box arrived yesterday. Opened her up and no blade! Spyderco packed the box with my sheath but forgot to ship the knife even though it was clearly printed on the enclosed packing slip. A quick call to Golden and I've got another (hope...

Manix 2 cage lock question...
I just received a brand new Manix 2 in 15v Sprint Run and love it. The only thing that I can notice that has me thinking is the plastic ball cage used in the locking mechanism. I have seen aftermarket cages made from aluminum, steel and titanium. They seem like they would be more fail safe than the ...

Question regarding Collectors Club knives...
After roaming ebay I have seen several sellers listing Spyderco Collectors Club knives for sale. I don't know a lot about how the club works, but I do know they are marked with the collectors number and a "V" for a variation. My question is do these knives carry the same value as the regul...

Re: Preffering Stainless
I prefer titanium but I get what you're saying. I love the heft and feel of solid SS or titanium. It beats the light and weak feel of the FRN handles. I prefer titanium as it doesn't scratch and mar as easily as steel. I currently carry a Delica Titanium with Damascus blade. So beautiful!

CENTOFANTE!
Just wanted to show her off. I stole this on ebay not too long ago. I wish I could carry this beauty but I just can’t get myself to do it. Its too perfect. Not scratch on it with a super sharp factory edge. IMO, it’s the most beautiful Spyderco ever produced. Please post your version if you have one...

Re: Why no deep carry pocket clip?
Well, a few on my Spyderco's sit a bit high out of my pocket and end up banging into things. I changed to a deep carry on my Delica Damascus and I thought I was in love before! There's no comparison. This aftermarket clip makes the knife disappear into my pocket and matches perfectly. Im a lawyer an...

Why no deep carry pocket clip?
Most knife companies have figured out that the people want a deep carry pocket clip. I'm sure this has been covered before, but why on earth doesn't Spyderco manufacture a deep carry clip and provide them with each knife? I can only count a few knives overall that their regular clip is more advantag...

Re: Manix 2 or Shaman? Help me out...
I hear what you're saying about the saw for the sternum, but I don't want to pack one. Plus, I can do it in half the time with a knife. I know I can get through it with muscle and a good solid blade. I'm also going on a Wyoming elk hunt this fall. Hopefully we put the Shaman to the test on some REAL...

Re: Manix 2 or Shaman? Help me out...
Im not so much skinning game, but cutting through skin, small bones, and cartilage. Basically opening up the animal and emptying the internal organs. I know what I need and I think the Shaman will provide it. That thick deep spine of the blade will work perfectly. I easily cleaned my last buck with ...

Re: Manix 2 or Shaman? Help me out...
I'm a huge outdoors hunting/fishing fan. I usually carry a large folder to gut/clean my deer and game. Gutting a deer is supper tough on a knife, especially cutting through the bone and cartilage in the sternum. Last fall I broke the tip off my Kershaw Blur cutting through the sternum of a deer. I w...

Re: Manix 2 or Shaman? Help me out...
I am a huge outdoor/hunting/fishing fan. I do a lot of deer and big game hunting. I prefer a fixed blade knife to gut/clean wild game as to keep the blood and other fouling out of the internals of the knife. But, I would like a folder that can stand up to the abuse of gutting a deer, cutting through...

Manix 2 or Shaman? Help me out...
First post. I currently own about a dozen Spyderco's and am looking to buy a new high end folder. Im on the fence though. I would like a high end Manix 2 or a Shaman. Im leaning towards a sprint run Manix 2 with 15V and G10 or a Shaman in M4 and micarta. I want the best or close to it in blade steel...
