Re: Lanyard tube sizes

I was under the impression the Manix 2 tube is slightly different than the para 2/3. Maybe a difference in the tube length between the liners…

Re: Manix Modifications. What have you done? What do you want to do?

Looks great. I’m assuming your G-10 scales are from a 52100 edition? Correct! Never really jelled with 52100, but loved the grey/black color combo. Dang, I figured. Was really hoping for some secret way to source gray g10 scales. I’d like to get a second, nicer, set for this one as they’re getting ...

Re: Manix Modifications. What have you done? What do you want to do?

I am planning on doing a blade swap and scale dye. 4V DLC blade from a recent SNK Manix LW (missed out on the G10 version) into dyed gray BHQ G10 scales :crossed-fingers So kind of like this, good choice! https://i.postimg.cc/NFDqc72c/20231230-112856.jpg Looks great. Re: 2023 Seconds sale! ..are you going?

For the love of god, if anyone can find a seconds Maxamet Manix 2 LW with screwed construction I’d be forever grateful. Have fun everyone, wish I could make it and experience the event. Good luck and hope you find some nice knives! (And don’t forget the Maxamet Manix, haha) I snagged a couple. If y...

Re: Please share your experience with SPY27

The SPY27 in my Manix 2 is my favorite steel I've come across. Great mix of everything I'm looking for.

Re: New Manix 2

Converted my SPY 27 to screws and this is what I found after opening up. This knife was pretty lightly used, and kept out pretty clean in my opinion. I just don't see why pinned would be preferred over screwed construction. If you're worried about screws backing out (never had that happen personall...

You're not saying that the knife needed opening for that, are you? Isn't that just a little lubricant I see? I'm not seeing rust or c...

Re: CPM 15v Manix 2

If there is a cutting job that a Manix 2 isn't beefy enough for, I'll let someone else do it.

Regarding which line is next to get the steel, put me down for guessing Para 3.

Re: 15v Manix 2 edge angle steeper on one side

My 15v was also pretty bad when I got it and have read other's comments online with the same issue. By far the worse factory edge on a Spyderco from the factory I've had. Brought it up in the main 15v thread and was told to not worry about it, this knife is only about the steel anyway. Apparently, t...

Re: Manix2 lwt Still Pinned

I took the plunge and did my SPY 27 LW. Not going to lie, I love tinkering, but this was a pain in the ***. Not sure how people can do it without a drill press. Started with a Dremmel and took out a chunk of scale doing the rivet near the pivot before a switched to the drill press. Looks good. I de...
