Re: Is the Yojumbo flickable?

Practice more. The Ayoob reverse flicks just fine.

Thanks, I've tried and it's impossible. I have a very, very strong detent. When I unlock the knife with the backlock, the blade drops only 90 degrees. I then need to press down on it with my strong handed pointer over the top to lock. It ...

Re: Is the Yojumbo flickable?

You might need to practice more. The ayoob is pretty easy to flick.

Thanks, flicking the Ayoob with my reverse middle finger is impossible. I am fine if I can't spidie flick the Yojumbo, but I prefer if I could. Just another way to deploy. In a stressful defensive situation, I know I would be ...

Is the Yojumbo flickable?

Hi,

I'm looking into another Spydie. I have the PM2 and Manix XL which are flickable and a new sprint run of the Ayoob which is not. I have seen different youtube videos saying and showing that the Yojumbo is flickable and others saying it's not. Can I get first hand opinions? I love being able to ...

My new Manix 2 XL!

Hi,

I just received my third Spydie, the Manix XL. Very nice blade for the money. I did need to loosen up the pivot slightly, but she's perfect now. Nice ergos, Sharp, centered, very good action with zero blade play. I'm liking the ball bearing locking system!

My Massad Ayoob PE has arrived!

Hi, first a big thank you to White Mountain Knives for the great customer service. I ordered on Thursday afternoon and I received it today. I really wasn't sure what to expect with this knife. I got caught up in all the excitement on this forum and went for it.

I love the grey G10 and texture ...

I prefer not to have a choil. I personally don't have the need for one.

Thanks for keeping all of us updated on this. I'm so glad I didn't order from them. I found that White Mountain Knives had them in stock a few days later and ordered from them. I ordered on Thursday, shipped Friday with tracking number!!!

Funny how things happen for a reason!

Hi,

Well, I posted that after receiving my new Military S110V yesterday, I was unhappy with its centering and action. This was my first liner lock Spidy and I guess it wasn't for me. I do love my PM 2's compression. Well, seller sent me a return label and credit. I went back on his site and what do ...

Some brands of quality torx bits to look for: Chapman Tools, Wiha, Felo. There are other good ones, but these are ones I have direct experience with. The cheaper ones are often too soft or poorly shaped and can damage the screw heads.
Thanks for that info!

Re: My Military S110V arrived, very stiff!

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up sending the knife back and the seller is looking through his stock for a centered and smoother one. He says this batch was the first he had received in over a year. Hopefully they don't all have this issue. I'm a newbie, so I don't feel comfortable taking ...

My Military S110V arrived, very stiff!

Hi,

I just received my Burple Military in S110V steel. First thing I noticed was that it was off center opposite the clip side. I played with both pivot side screws and got it centered. It is however, very stiff. It is nothing like the PM2 which was almost glass smooth. I know this one has the ...
