Does anybody know of a spyderco stocking dealer who has a good selection of spydercos on hand in the Harrisonburg Va area?

I would like to handle a milartary 2 before I purchase one. I have a PM2 and am considering the M2.

I used my Mule in SPY27 to clean multiple squirrels this year. Most recently 2 last Saturday. As far as my EDC PM2, opened a pack of snacks.

I just purchased a SPY27 mule and am hoping to try it out this year skinning a whitetail. The blade shape isn't that of a typical skinning knife so I'm wonder if anyone has used the mule for skinning and how did you like it.

I only own a few spydercos. A couple of PM2, Yojimbo2 and a couple of mules. The mules with the spyderco G10 scales and the PM2 fit my hand like a glove. In addition to that, when I first joined the forum I had some questions and Sal answered them himself. I didn't know who he was at the time but ...

I've used mine as my squirrel skinner this year. Probably cleaned up 2 doz squirrels with it. It's the perfect size and I haven't had any issues. Still sharp.

Edit.....after closer evaluation I'm seeing some chipping. Like mentioned the toughest thing cut was the tail bone of the squirrel. Other ...

I've cleaned a lot of squirrels with my PM2. Worked great. I think it would do fine for deer. Blade shape should be great for skinny.

Any idea when the next mule will be coming out?

As far as the back and forth from rod to paddle, it can be a challenge but I just lay the paddle across my lap and fish.

I've kayak fished for several years mostly in small streams in Va. Some in larger rivers like the James, Potomac and Rappahannock. Also the sound side of the outer banks. For rivers I'd stay away from the pedal kayaks and look for a light weight model since you will be dragging the yak some if the ...

This is my first mule. I don't know much about it but as soon as I get my scales I plan on putting it to use at the camp site, cabin and for hunting and fishing needs. Mine was hair saving sharp out of the box.

I cut my finger down to the bone opening a bag of chicken feed. Boy do I feel stupid. Bleeding to bad or I would have gotten a photo. Maybe next time.

I cleaned up 4 squirrels from an early morning hunt with my PM2.

It will be my PM2 with warncliffe blade and my Gerber EAB. The EAB is for helping the little ones open their packages. No use dulling the PM2 on cardboard and plastic.

I'm new here so I appreciate the help. I'm reading and trying to learn more about the mule project but can't find an answer to one question. How often are the mules produced and how do I know when the next production is going to be coming up for sale?

Does anyone know where I can get red white and blue starburst scales for my PM2? I've seen them on the knives on ebay but can't find just the scales.
