I have 2 P'kals and a trainer. 2 out of three are butter smooth. The other one could be a little smoother.
I haven't looked yet, but any guides on smoothing it up some?

I'd rather have the recipient not have to do a single thing to it.

Re: P'Kal availability

Glad to hear it. Did it open and close smoothly? Mine wouldn't close one handed, and opening was ridiculously stiff. The bad customer service is enough to keep me from buying from them, but it least it sounds like you got a good knife. It opens fairly good. It opens without any stiffness or tension...

Maybe you'll have better luck. I hope you do, hard to find these.
Just got it. Fast shipping. The box wasn't 100% mint condition, but the knife sure was. Blade is centered and looks good. Looks super clean and untouched.

Definitely will make the new owner happy.

Re: P'Kal availability

-c0de- hope you didn't already buy it. If you did and end up returning it don't let them tell you it wasn't previously returned. I ended up calling the link I originally posted and they said they were waiting on a restock. I did end up pulling the trigger on the Sooner site, but I haven't heard any...

Re: P'Kal availability

Hi, -c0de-: You can search our Dealer Locator, https://www.spyderco.com/resources/dealer-locator/, but I would also recommend searching the forum. Feel free to post the name of the dealer in this thread and we can let you know if there are any red flags. Kristi Sure! https://www.copsplus.com/spyder...

Re: P'Kal availability

Hi, -c0de-: Welcome to our forum. I'm sorry to say that the P'kal is still backordered at this time. I don't have an ETA, but there will be more to come. You might consider a gift card as an alternative. Then the recipient could order it when it's back in stock. We hope you enjoy your time with us!...

Re: P'Kal availability

Any updates on availability?

I have someone who is dying for a P'kal for Christmas, and I am at my wits in to find one. Seem to be hard to find even on knife swap forums that I have browsed.
