Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
I voted Yes. Fixed blade would be sweet and if nothing else would be different than most exclusives. Hint...the Moran is a much overlooked model that's great for hunting and camping. Cheers!

Re: Caregiving 101: Suggestions?
JD, I don't know you other than seeing your comments on the forum. But I'm originally from Missouri too, other side of state, a little north of Cape Girardeau. I would try to instill on them that every day's a gift. If they're physically able and if they're early risers take them to a Missouri sunr...

Re: 2024 Official Discontinued List
RamZar,
great list, love it and thanks for taking the time to compile it. Take a look at number 31 and 38. Both show the Stretch but with different spelling. Believe there to be 4 different Stretch variants at present time.

Re: Is there a consensus sharpest folder?
I don’t have a data point on which knife came sharpest out of the box in my collection. What I can tell you is that the best cutting knives that I have are the Delicas. That’s not just based on blade stock or sharpness. It’s the knife design as well. Cuts are not only easy, but easy to make accurat...

Re: You guys can keep your straight spine Stretch
David, thanks. I had a feeling a bench grinder was involved, didn't think about a Dremel though. Putting a straight edge along the spine, I can see it's not really not much metal being removed, but it's a dramatic change in looks. Guess I'll stick to my original plan and think on it some while I use...

Re: You guys can keep your straight spine Stretch
Instead of buying a new Pacific Salt SE on the Summer Sale, I bought this guy on the secondary market. It's used and needs sharpening and hopefully I won't botch that up, I do have a Sharpmaker. As is it just tears paper, but it did destroy a cardboard box pretty easily. David, I was admiring the w...

Re: Native 5 Scale Swap
Nice job!! Especially like the looks of the burgundy. Anything special you did to get that color? Dyed the yellow scales in Scarlet, but might have added some Racing Red - I tend to leave things in, pull out and adjust colors. I wish I had a big pile of various-colored scraps of different materials...

For deer:
Fixed blade, check out the Moran.
Folders, I'd recommend Stretch or Spydiechef.

Re: Talk about the Endela SE
Warstein, can you share a side-by-side photo of the Endela SE and Stretch 2 XL SE? I'm curious how they compare in serration pattern? Thanks, Dave Right now I happen to stlll have this a bit blurry older pic on my phone - Endela SE (tip is a bit repared btw) on the top, Stretch XL right below it. G...

Re: Talk about the Endela SE
That's where the SE wharnie Endura comes in. Do you happen to know if the wharnie Endura SE has the same great ("mellow", "non aggressive") serration pattern as the Endela SE? Cause this particular way the serrations are ground makes the Endela SE so amazing for me. My Salt 2 ff...
