Para 3 Salt for changing brakes on an unseasonably warm January day.

This one has become "the usual." Warm day today (temps in the low 50s F) but I got off night shift this morning so didn't do much of anything.

I'd be in for a salty Dodo. So far I only have the BHQ serrated one, and I'd prefer a plain edge stainless one. I've been fascinated by the Dodo since a friend showed me one back when the original was in production.

Para 3 salt for me. I'm a sucker for some MagnaCut.

Went for a short hike with Mom today, but didn't take any knife pictures until I got back home.

Gotta be honest other than being able to use with gloves and stainless, I don't carry anything special when it's snowy (or even an all out blizzard). My most carried Spydies in winter are still the Para 3 or PM2.

In bitter cold I do tend to shy a bit from ultra high carbide steels, but so far none ...

A relatively warm (40F) and colorful evening compared to the past few days.

It's a recent arrival, but this one has been getting a lot of carry time and likely will continue to get a lot more.

I did go outside after the sun came out for a while, but with temps around 10F today, been mostly bumming around the house with these two blades.

I like to say the winters here keep the riff raff out... if nothing else they keep the bugs in check. Tomorrow will be colder, high of 10F and low of around -10F ...

Took my Para 3 Salt on a real trail this afternoon. 20F with 20mph winds and light snow falling.

28F, light breeze, freezing drizzle/ice pellets, solid gray overcast. Not inspiring weather, but I went for a 3 mile walk anyway.
