Re: 100% of people agree on this one thing!
I really want to be able to disassemble the lock and cut a few spirals off of that spring, because it's too strong for me. But make it a back-lock and I won't care so much.

Re: FRN/Lightweights: I just can’t get into them
The Chaparral was also the icebreaker for me. After that i bought two FRN Natives. I used and abused one for weeks and it's still fine. But you are not alone.. my personal no-go is black G10. I don't have a single knife and I don't think I would buy any sprint runs if not for the colors. Black G10 i...

Re: How did you use your EDC?
Used my PM2 to open six envelopes from utility and insurance companies that usually send bills. None of them had any! :-) Well done, PM2, you will never be for sale, I can tell you that much.

Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native
Heh, I just bought my third Native 5 yesterday. I don't have a Delca, but I have a Tasman Salt 2 SE and subjectively, the handle ergos are better on the Native. Another thing that bugs me with the Tasman, is that it always cuts me when closing it one handed. The Natives will contact my finger with t...

Re: Would like suggestions on Spyderco's to look at next
I also liked the Chef, so i bought the Swayback. The Gayle Bradley is also great. Others i have and like: Caribbean SE, Para 3 Maxamet, PM2, a Sage, and a few Natives and Chaparrals. I placed an order for a Shaman and two Millies as well. But beyond that I am not sure what else would i need, except ...

Re: My wish list for future Spyderco variations... 2 items
Yes please.. anything fluted gets my vote. Mine is a back-lock Shaman. I think it would improve the ergonomics, the looks, and maybe help with the weight distribution, making the knife lighter. Another one would be a Military without a forward finger choil. Just a nice long edge. The PM2 already fee...

Re: Caribbean vs Manix 2
I still say that the Caribbean, Autonomy 2 and now Rock Jumper are the best designed handles Spyderco has offered. The Caribbean handle has almost the same size and contour as the Bark River Bravo 1 (the spine is more curved though) and in use it feels very close to a fixed blade too - provides gre...

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread
On the 30th of September I was browsing the site of my local watering hole when this knife appeared. The page said 'delivery time five to ten days'. I placed an order and received a confirmation email ok for a C229MPZW. Then just an hour later they called me saying that while my order is valid they ...

Re: Which Spydercos Are In Your EDC Rotation?
I seldom have pockets in the summer, my EDC must be speedo compatible (IWB), so I carry only smaller knives - Native 5, the Tasman Salt 2 SE, the Para 3 Maxamet, and the Chaparral FRN. These knives are well used and often dirty. https://pic8.co/sh/rJMOo3.jpg Shoulder seasons and winter gloves are fo...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
A digicam/DLC PM2 is waiting for me in a local shop, but I am still waiting for a SE/DLC/FRN Native 5 I ordered a week ago to arrive, so I don't have to go 2x. I prefer to pick up and check out my knives personally whenever I can.
Edit: Got 'em! :-)
