Are the Manix equivalents made of a lesser material? I have seen a couple of YouTube videos showing how easily they crack and break.

I don't use a lanyard, and I don't like the design of the lanyard tube used on the Para 3/PM2/Military, and Manix, where it's attached to the scales. The Shaman's lanyard hole implementation is perfect- no tube at all and the scales can be easily removed.

Can anyone please confirm this change has happened? Wondering if I buy an S30V version Manix today (assuming new stock) if it would be equipped with the skeletonized liners?
