Re: FRN strength testament(s)

Are the Manix equivalents made of a lesser material? I have seen a couple of YouTube videos showing how easily they crack and break.

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!

The well-used first generation Ladybug in the foreground was my first Spyderco, purchased in the early 1990's. The 15V Military 2 in the background, my latest. These precise, dependable cousins are similarly shaped but complete opposites in terms of handle and blade materials, blade type, locking ...

Re: Question about lanyard holes.........

I don't use a lanyard, and I don't like the design of the lanyard tube used on the Para 3/PM2/Military, and Manix, where it's attached to the scales. The Shaman's lanyard hole implementation is perfect- no tube at all and the scales can be easily removed.

Re: 2024 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

GJR74_calendarsubmissionFinal.jpg When I recently purchased the Spyderco Native 5 Fluted Carbon Fiber knife, I was immediately taken by the exacting tolerances and milling of the handle, but also the beautiful machining of the stainless steel S90V blade, and even the hardware. Spyderco's iconic ...

I thought the manix was moving to skeletonized liners as a rolling CQI change?
Can anyone please confirm this change has happened? Wondering if I buy an S30V version Manix today (assuming new stock) if it would be equipped with the skeletonized liners? :bug-red-white
