Sal, This is twice you have now mentioned this fabled Mule Team forum topic. We have looked everywhere for it and cannot find it. The suspense is killing me. :p

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?

I made a handle protector for my small forest axe. I left all my leatherworking tools in the box and made the whole thing with just my para3 LW in Spy 27. I am happy to say it performed better than I had hoped and even after cutting and shaving very heavy weight leather it was still shaving sharp wh...

Catching the moonrise over the mountain. Got back to camp late and my LW helped get the fire going just before the moon came up.

Re: What’s up with the military?

I really like the Mitary. I have carried larger knives most of my life and it just feels like a good size for me. That said, I have been carrying the Para 3 in Spy-27 for the last two months straight and even though I did not like it at first, it has really grown on me. After mostly using larger kni...

Re: Seconds Sale 2020

Being from Canada, the chances of me making it to a "seconds sale" are very low. I understand the difficulties and risks of making these available online and that many people would be unhappy with what they got, even if any flaws or issues were fully disclosed. With that said, I would love to see th...

Re: New Double Sided CBN Benchstone

I have found my coarse Diasharp diamond plates have gotten better over time. I also found that doing a reprofile with the coarse grits left pretty deep scratches. After using them for a few years they have "smartened up" a bit and I can work through the grits a lot faster than when they were new. I ...

Re: Para 3 LW w/ spy27

I personally like the PM2 better than the Para 3 because it fits my hand a bit better. With that said though, I have been carrying my Spy27 Para 3 for about a month now and I am really loving it. It has replaced the Manix 2 LW as my go to carry when wearing shorts and I have also been taking it to w...

Re: Where does SPY27 Steel sits among the current Steel lines?

I am loving it so far. I have only been carrying it for a few weeks but I am trying to put it through its paces by cutting everything from rope, to leather, cardboard, rubber, wood, and anything else I come across. I am happy with how long the factory edge held up and am even happier with how my fir...

Re: Got a favorite ax? Post ‘em up!

Gransfors Bruk small forest axe. Light enough I can take it packing with me everywhere and capable enough around the camp that it comes with me all the time. Just put a new handle in her last fall and it still looks brand new.

I recently got a Manix 2 LW and have really been liking it too. I don't know why I held out on this one for so long but now that I have it I already want another one!

I wonder how good this steel would be for a outdoor fixed blade knife.

Re: Para3 - CPM-SPY27 now shipping!

I am north of the border so shipping is always a pain but I have my pre-order in at our local supplier. Even more important to me though, is when are the SPY-27 Mules going to be released? I've got some really nice Jade that I am going to slab up for a set of scales and I am itching to get this one ...
