Took the M398 out on a camping trip. Man, I'm really liking this one for bushcraft. It takes such a razor edge and just keeps cutting. I think it was some of my easiest Mule feathersticks.

Finally got my green honeycomb scales finished. Now I just need to figure out a nice color sheath to go with them

Hey Sal,

This stuff is called C-Tek Honeycomb Composite. It is an aluminum honeycomb filled with composite resin. It mills pretty easily but is a bit finicky to final sand due to the different hardness of the aluminum and the resin.

HIC Mule with Mahogany scales

Took some of my Mules for a hike today. They got to ride in their cozy new sheaths and the new messenger bag I am almost done making. The snow is melting and the ice is off the lower lakes.

Worked up some canvas micarta 2 toned scales along with a batch of sheaths to carry a few of my Mules. Next up, another batch of 6 more sheaths in another color for some of my other Mules.
