Re: Wharncliffe Wednesday

I would like to try the Yojumbo if I had larger hands. As it is though, the Yojimbo 2 is already the perfect size for me.

Who knows though, if they release a CruCarta version, I would be very tempted to buy one.

Re: Coated Seki K390 knives?

I agree that the TiCN coating that Seki uses isn't that durable. This is how my Pac Salt 2 looks after only a few uses around the yard. Bought it new last January. I wouldn't mind having DLC on the Seki models, but only if it doesn't raise the cost. If it adds $10 more, then I'd rather stick with Ti...

https://i.postimg.cc/QMRC62rg/IMG-1693.jpg I appreciate seeing gear people have in vehicles, I always learn something. I thought I would contribute another item I carry which is a glass breaker in my console . It could save you or others after an accident . Simple and effective . MG2 It's concernin...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Pro-Tech Malibu. The grip tape makes it a much better knife as I don't constantly feel that it will slip out of my hand.

Re: The evolution of a car kit

I've never been to Singapore, but have been to its next-door neighbor, Malaysia, and find that the climate is indeed similar to the Philippines. You are fortunate to live in a country that is commuter-friendly. Mine is not accommodating to cyclists, pedestrians or commuters, hence why many people us...

If CutleryShoppe has exclusive "rights" to the PM2 wharnie blade shape, it might be best to send your request to them directly.

Re: What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?

@hobbyist, it originally came with red/black zome scales, which I felt made the knife appear too dark.

Re: What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?

It's the 20CV coated Endela with blue scales for me. The blade is from a DLT exclusive and the handle is from a K390 variant.

Re: The evolution of a car kit

Thanks for sharing. Indeed, the contents of one's car kit will depend on the situations or emergencies one will most likely encounter on a particular trip. My country is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, in addition to having several active fault lines, and being in the path of tropical storms from ...

Re: What are these marks on the inside of the scales?

This old thread on Blade Forums shows a disassembled Spyderco Myrtle. The major parts are numbered, perhaps to keep track of each whole knife unit.

Maybe this is the case with your Chaparral.
