Re: EXTREMELY disappointed with Spyderco. Update: Resolved!
I’ve seen this same complaint on Reddit and the Facebook Millie group.
I wonder if it’s the same guy or this happened to more people.
The effort put into these online seconds sales doesn’t seem worth it. They just seem to get bad press.

Re: Are Meerkat’s still available anywhere?
Maybe he can check out the Dragonfly as a substitute. It has very similar ergonomics with a slightly larger blade.
None of the fun “try to unlock my knife” shenanigans though.

Re: 2023 Forum Calendar Contest!
I was going through my Spyderco collection and surprisingly found I have more backlocks than anything else. While the compression lock is my favorite, I do love a Spydie backlock, smooth but sturdy and dependable. I decided to compare backlocks from 5 different factories (Countries?) and snap a pic ...

You’re the target market bud!
Don’t worry, you’ve got it all figured out.
Uh, who signed off on these designs?
They look 20 years old already.
Guess that’s the brand aesthetic they’re going for.

Well, at least I can save some cash being unenthused with the brand for a few months. Thought I did something unique.
Congrats to the winners.

Another + 1 on the LC200N Dragonfly.
Maybe something discontinued and fun like the Navaja or Capitan.
The new Police model Sal had mentioned.

Gunny Glide is a new pivot lube that uses graphene and has some really impressive results. REC (rivers edge cutlery) and Omaha knives have had it in stock recently.
I’ve used nano oil, kpl and militec in the past and this gunny glide blew them out of the water.

Model: Dragonfly 1 & 2
This is my collection of 31 different Dragonflies. I fell in love with the model years ago. I really feel like it is enough knife for most of my daily use and the trivial weight is a huge plus. Aesthetically I love the sharp angles and swedge on these little guys. So one day ...

Warranty sharpening - belt or sharpmaker?
I live local to the SFO and when I bring knives in to get sharpened an employee touches them up on the sharpmaker on the showroom floor.
I always get great results but I’m curious if people who ship knives in from out of state get theirs sharpened on a belt grinder?
I’m thinking of purchasing a ...

Re: Sage 2
I cracked open my two Sages to see how much work would be involved to swap blades.
The Sage 1 blade has just a bit more material where the lock engages.

The top/spine of the blades match perfectly but you can see the difference ...

Pair of fake Police on ebay
I saw this pair of Police models on ebay and they seem fake. The tiny boye dent, the clips not ending flat and the wrong font on the P in police, as well as shipping with a pouch.
Can't stand people taking advantage of others.

Yeah I did remove the blade and used flitz on it. It seems like it did nothing. I'll try the scrubbing pad next, then buy the barkeepers friend if that doesn't work. Thanks.

Removing patina on K390
I picked up a little beast of a Dragonfly in K390 and proceeded to mess it up after cutting some limes. This is my first non-laminated tool steel, I didn't realize it would patina so hard.
