What stainless alloy is under consideration for the Mantra? I'm very interested.

Or a more clippy, clip point even better. I love me some good belly to a blade, but can't stand it when the fine "stabby" tip is sacraficed. It's kind of just my thing I guess, but I find an acute point useful, and it's a deal breaker to me if a knife doesn't have it. the one reason why I don't own a slysz bowie actually...
I agree with you regarding the tip and that's the main issue I have with the Bowie. I still own one but don't carry it often because the blade shape isn't nearly as useful to me. Don't regret the purchase, but I'm down for another if they switch up the blade shape.

This is happening btw.

Has this been confirmed?
Last year at Blade, I'd just bought my Mantra and I was talking to Eric about it, and he said he was working on a Mantra 3 in a stainless blade and compression lock (as well as mentioning "compression lock flippers", which turned out to be, so far, Hanan and Sliverax). This year, I asked again and he told me essentially the same thing. I have no idea on a time frame or 100% official confirmation that it's being made, but chances are pretty good. I should've said "This is probably happening" instead. :D
I think (though my memory could be confused on this) that he told me this year it was going to be in S30V.

Easy. Compression lock Caly 3.5 (or something very close to that handle shape).

Well, I'm a UMASS guy, so I gotta say, in the spirit of the Para 3's original "Minuteman" moniker, give it some maroon G10 scales.
And maybe CTS-204p.
Ok, sorry, now this is just turning into a a suggested sprint.

1. Low riding wire clip N5
2. Screw construction Caly
3. 2mm thin blade Kopa
4. Hungarian with traditional "Hungarian" blade instead of FFG
5. Shaman with 3 mm stock thin grind blade
6. SS Bolstered Rhino
7. 2 mm stock Lil Native grind to .010" behind the edge

Lc200n pe dragonfly is my first choice
second would be ukpk/caly with lc200n blade either one would be great
third would be lc200n southfork
fourth lc200n catcherman
fifth would be caspian salt lc200n
somewhere in the middle of that lot a swick lc200n
anybody notice an lc200n type pattern to this post or is it just me:)

Shaman with a back lock.
Paramilitary 2 with a back lock.

Delica needs finger choil and a wire clip.

Front flipper everything. I think the native would work best though

Exactly this. Deep carry.
x3...
This would actually make me be a 1st time owner of one :)
I really like this idea, I think I'd carry the N5 LW way more often if it had the wire clip.
