A Schemp rock and an Enuff H1

As time goes by I continue to fall deeper in love with my 2 original Temperance 1 models ( PE & SE). I use my PE Temp 1 at least 6 to 8 times a week and just love it's functionality and ease of use. I wish so much that they would bring back the Temp 1 in the Salt Series with H-1 blade steel and make it available again in PE & SE. To me the Temp 1 is truly the quintescential survival fixed blade in my line up.

I also hold all of my Catcherman models dearly and have 2 of them in my bug out bags.

I also would have my big Spyderhawk Hawkbill blades in a survival kit as well. And for a folder I would go with either a C-60 Massad Ayoob with the G-10 handle or as many of my brethren like the C-36 Military. My XHP model Military would be my pick for a back up folder.

I think it's high time to start looking at making many of the older models like the TEmp 1 and some others in H-1.

I'll say bushcrafter or one of those forrester models,but I would probably trade both for a axe.

This thread made me buy a Schempp Rock so I guess that's my answer to the OP. Or my Southfork...

I'm hearing more and more about the Warrior model being prefered in survival and outdoor uses. I do want to get one eventually but do be kind enough to tell us what advantages it would have over Spyderco's other fixed blades?? I do know that the spine has a serrated working edge which I'm very fond of but I'm still wondering what other advantages it has to put it at the top of many people's list.

As far as the Pacific Salt goes I like most anything in the Salt/H-1 Series. People really missed the boat on the H-1 Catcherman Sprint that they had 2 to 3 years ago. My only regret is that I wish I would have nailed down 2 of them. I also wish they would come out with a fully serrated Catcherman like the ones out of the old AUS-8 series.

I don't know if the Warrior necessarily has any distinct advantage over other Spyderco knives, I just think that it's a kick-*** knife!
