So when this exchange occurred I hopped on theBay to look and there one was...
I just won the auction and paid more than I would have liked but well under MSRP and I am super stoked about getting this one. I have wanted one for years, but it was discontinued shortly after I got into Spyderco's and Mr. Bradley more specifically. The GB1 was a game changer and I was born in Weatherford and my family has farmed out there for several generations, still have the land but no one is really putting it to good use anymore.
Anyway, Gayle Bradley is an absolutely amazing designer and the fact that he has a connection geographically is a cherry on top. I have GB1, Advocate, Bowie, Junction, and now an incoming Air...
I don't think that I need one, but eventually I'll probably have a GB2 as well, some really cool scales would be pretty great to differentiate it from the 1. Anyway thanks for making it this far.

I would like see that happen, big fan of brown scales. That Manix 2 LW has been in my list for a while. I passed on a good deal for one a few weeks ago and I’m kicking myself now.

I finally scored an FRN Chap recently and was stoked. That's the knife I carry when I can only carry one; small but big blade.
