A redo made me think immediately of the Starmate! Tip-up, interesting steel, anything else than black G10 and I wouldn't hesitate a second

I miss my Michael Walker C22 every day.
Always wanted a full size Calypso.
Still lobbying for a Sage2 10v (I'll buy all of them lol).
I'm with you up until Sage 2 :)
It's really the Sage 6 i have been waiting for for a donkey's age by now.

So I need for someone to make a lit of the desired models so I can bring it to R&D.
However, Some of the models were made by makers that are no longer with us and the skill required to reproduce the models is easily available. The Beautiful genius design of Ed Schempp's Kris is such an example.
What models are you referring as the Golden Era models?

My list is short as well:
Rookie (I actually - and finally, have a Rookie incoming after years of hunting on the domestic market, but I'll easily commit to another one if it had another run)
Junction
But this isn't what you asked for, so being that we're just a bunch of unorganised fools I'm going to turn on my emergency lamp and signal for help

I'd be interested in a large Persian in Cruwear/gray G10 to match my Ayoob, with the bolsters please.

This is a handsome knife! I don’t know how I’ve not come across it before.

Seconding this!
I'd love to see a Starmate in Hap40 or zdp189.

Regarding the Starmate, are you interested in the Golden version (hollow grind) or Japan version (flat grind). There might be other differences. I prefer a re-release of the Golden version.

An amalgamation of the two would be my version of ideal, to take it a step further into hypothetical.
But since I subconsciously defaulted to the Japanese version, I guess that's the one I'd want.

Hollow ground Golden Starmate in M4/K390 sounds perfect

Kiwi or Kopa, sure, but I’d prefer a JD Smith. Unfortunately, their maker has changed generations with some difficulty, but the recent Ayoob does give hope.

I was also thinking a hollow ground tool steel or MC blade, AluTex (silver "cf") handle scales, 4 position clip. So a hybrid of the two models would be best, or at least drill additional pocket clip holes in the golden version

Lava is the one I have FOMO never getting. Wouldn’t hate to see Dodo or Junior make a return either

Lava would be one for me, don’t know if that collaboration is over like the Pingo collaborators though
