Thanks Eric! Great news.

How far behind is the digi-cam version? Are you planning to make it with black blade or satin? Personally, I prefer satin.

The chances of getting a CF/S90V are slim to none. I do not want the standard black/S30v. So how long till, say, the Digicam w/black blades ae available?

ETA: what synchronicity! By the time I hit the reply button there is already the same query posted by Ben.

The schedule was tight and we’re a little delayed, but thanks for the patience.
Thank goodness!! 2011 was the estimated date I was given. No more intense waiting. Early Christmas present I suppose.. Merry Christmas everyone! :D

Many thanks for the response Eric! It's much easier to wait patiently for something when you know it's coming for sure. Wish I had enough to spring for the S90v sprint, but alas there are too many models I'm interested in now, including some newly disco'd items. I do plan on getting the Carpenter sprint in addition to the standard version when it comes out. Thanks again for the response and for designing such great knives!!

I'm passing on the S90V/CF Sprint, but I'm going on the CTS-20P and the normal Para 2. =\

Gonna be a long wait!

Is the CTS version shipping with the S90V, or will it be at a later date. That is the one I'm looking forward to.

Man, these guys (spyderco) are screwing the pooch w/ the Para 2 taking so long and not being released sooner! Have they ever heard of a little thing called CHRISTMAS?!?! These dolts will miss out on all the frenzied holiday consumerism. Then again, I suppose they theorize that anyone wanting one of these, will still purchase it after x-mas, b4 x-mas, next year, when my hair falls out and I got gray in me beard or anytime they decide to do it...I mean Ive heard of pushing peoples anticipatory buttons and all, but how long does it take to make a factory knife (that people are salivating for, btw). Id really like one, but Im almost ready to just "bite the blade" and by a different knife.
C'mon "Glesser Boys"--get yer S@$T together! ; you're not making a gd hydrogen bomb or prosthetic limb for Christs sake, ITS A POCKET KNIFE for lonely, depressed dorks, add ridden man-children. Lets see it, alreadddyyy!!!!

Okay guys calm down. I know "it's just a knife", but I'm glad Spyderco takes the time to make each and every one right. I will wait fro kind of quality Spyderco produces - that's why I buy Spyderco and not a knife from a high production company. I suspect most of us feel that way.

Kudos to Spyderco for making such a great product!
