Prayers sent. Stay safe.

And perhaps, apropos of tonight (the start of Pesach/Passover), a little lamb's blood on the doorposts wouldn't hurt.

Hey Chad, My Brother Prayers are already on the way. May the Lord Put a Shield of Protection around You, Your Family, and Fellow COs, In HIS Name. It is amazing, things are getting out of hand everywhere. Down here, it's the same. I've seen and made more arrest in a week than I have in the past month, and it keeps getting worse. It's like people have all of a sudden took an Overdose of "Stupid Pills". I Pray Protection for everyone in our field Bro. Please Take Good Care and Be Safe. Prayers will Continue for You and Yours. Please Keep us updated.

God Bless and 360IJN :)

What a truly horrible situation, Chad, hoping you and your staff (and the LE community) stays safe, it's not fair that you're going to have to keep a constant eye out for troublemakers now....

it's interesting, really, i never really thought through the possible reprocussions of my personal philosopy of "criminals have no rights", looks like this may not be a good philosopy after all....

i figured since commiting a crime is a *voluntary* decision, criminals should have no rights , after all, if they didn't make the decision to commit a crime, they wouldn't end up incarcerated.....

watch your six and keep safe, prayers sent...

Hey guys,

Mahalo for all your thoughts and prayers. As TKC said, "Prayer is powerful!"

Now the waiting game. I am still on standby, I got my uni all ready to go...cripes what a situation.

This CO who made the "bad call" thought he'd get accolades and be the "hero" for downing an inmate. A headshot no less...how he managed that one I don't know, as during firearms qualification, he failed about five times. Of all times to hit the target. I was thinking of the location in which the inmate was shot, and I tell you, that part of town is SO busy at the time he fired off that round. Lots of school kids walking around, not to mention passing traffic. This CO was a brown noser who only thought of himself all of the time. Had this inmate succeeded in getting away, it'd have been escape #4 on this CO. Cripes...

We are permitted by policy to shoot to "stop"...however, common sense should say otherwise when firing in an area filled with civilians and passing cars. Common sense dictates that you contact base unit of the escape, have them notify PD, make sure you do not abandon your partner and make sure the other inmates in the van stay put! Now, let's just see if this was worth it for him...if he gets incarcerated for this shooting, he will be in PC forever. So much for friggin' "being the hero"...

I am more concerned in that CO's NOT involved with this incident may get hurt, worse yet, their families may get hurt...Hopefully, the facility is taking precautionary action, and doing a lot of "what if" thinking...pfffttttt...yeah, right. ****. Last night was a great example of admin thinking: "Call in guys pre-shift, or off duty. Have them standby outside the facility. No, do not issue weapons as everyone's qualification cards have expired. There may be drive by shootings, so uh...just have them standby outside."

Anyway, thanks for allowing me to..."express" myself...and thanks for everything else guys...I SO wanna kick this CO's ***!!!

God bless and be safe everyone.
